Stefan and the team moved our two bedroom condo items from Metro Vancouver to Vancouver Island.We chose to pack our own boxes/bins and wrapped up... some of the loose items. We also assisted with some of the items being moved to the truck and chose to transport some of the valuables with private vehicles.The movers wrapped up big furniture items and other loose items. They also completed disassembly and assembly of the bed with drawers, headboard and footboard, sofa bed legs, dining table legs, and removed the TV from the mount and packaged it for the move. We had three movers in Vancouver and two movers on the Island.We appreciated the on-site assessment before the move, advance preparations the day before the move, and work completed the day of the move. With the exception of a portion of a guitar stand, all items made it safely and we are very satisfied with how well the items were protected. We had a decent number of boxes/bins marked fragile and all those were transported without any issue. All our framed artwork also made it over without damage.Communication regarding loading of some items the day before the move and provision of wardrobe boxes could have been better. That being said, Stefan was professional in accepting the responsibility for the communication and apologizing. He also offered to drop off the wardrobe boxes later on the same day.Given that any move will likely have some complication and our overall experience was very positive, we are comfortable with recommending Paramount Moving to others. The guys worked diligently to ensure items were protected and loaded and we made it to the ferry on time. The move was completed by the end of the move-in day.read more
