What is Included in my Moving Price?
- Experienced and Professional Movers
- Clean Moving Trucks (22′ and 26′)
- Furniture and Fragile staff protection with moving blankets and shrink wrap
- Load securement equipment to transport your belongings safely (straps, bungee cords, movers bands).

Moving Price Break Down:
- The minimum charge is 2 hours includes 2 hours of labour (service time) and NO TRAVEL TIME (for moves within the Greater Calgary area). After the initial 2 hours of labour, service time will be billed in 15-minute increments.
- Do I need to pay taxes? Yes. 5% GST applies to the total amount of the move cost.
- When do we start the clock? We start when the movers arrive at your location and we stop it once they are done moving you.
- What if we are late? We will pay you $30 per hour if we are late.
- I have a piano to move. An additional piano fee of $150 CAD will apply. A minimum of 3 moving professionals will be required to avoid personal injuries and damages to a client’s property.
- Some of my belongings are extra heavy. At Paramount Moving we consider items extra-heavy when they are exceeding 250lbs, such as treadmill, big safe, slate pool tables, air hockey table, gym equipment and etc. An additional $65 fixed fee will be applied to the job total amount.
