Moving Costs
Breakdown:
- The minimum charge is 2 hours, which includes 2 hours of labour (service time). After the initial 2 hours of labour, service time will be billed in 15-minute increments.
- Do I need to pay taxes? Yes. 5% GST applies to the total amount of the move cost.
- When do we start the clock? We start when the movers arrive at your location and we stop it once they are done moving you.
- I have a piano to move. An additional piano fee of $250 CAD + $5 Step will apply. A minimum of 3 moving professionals will be required to avoid personal injuries and damages to a client’s property.
- Some of my belongings are extra heavy. Our Calgary movers consider items extra-heavy when they exceed 200lbs, such as treadmills, big safes, slate pool tables, air hockey tables, gym equipment, etc. An extra-heavy fee will be applied to the job’s total amount.
