It was completely by accident that I asked for a quote from Paramount Moving. I was referred to another moving company and I googled it. Thinking... that company came up first in the search and not paying attention, I filled out a request for a quote. I was surprised to get a quote back so quickly, but from Paramount.I have moved now 6 times within the city and this time was the best moving experience I have ever had.Prompt, careful, thorough, strong, polite and professional. Everything was wrapped in blankets and protected.We downsized and the crew had to use a very small elevator to bring everything to our new Condo.Dont look anywhere else. What a terrific moving experience. From the first point of contact, communication was crystal clear, and my questions quickly answered. I appreciated... the confirmations. The crew showed up right on time and were all so pleasant. They wasted no time getting to work, carefully preparing our furniture for transport. We had a complication with the number of garden pots causing a need for a second trip, but they still finished the work early and under budget. I would absolutely hire them again. I don’t think I could have asked for or found a better moving experience. The two guys were respectful, personable and worked extremely well... together. My move was quite lengthy and a third member arrived to bring them a hot dinner and offered two hours to complete the move. They asked where I would like my items, were happy throughout, polite and grateful to be working. They also helped to set things up. Above and beyond. I’m so happy to have hired them. I called Paramount to see if they could squeeze me in last-minute to help unload my moving truck. I was not expecting the level of flexibility and... promptness I received! Paramount was able to send two people to help within a few hours of the phone-call. Orest and Arthur were excellent! Efficient, hard working and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and were willing to work with difficult terrain and tricky access (our yard is under construction). I am very satisfied with the service I received, and would gladly recommend them to anyone who is moving in the greater Victoria area.read more

Orest and Nick arrived on time. They were very friendly and understood what we needed. They were very professional and did the job in less time than... I thought they would. They only took a short break.They were both very respectful and careful with the furniture. They took down our bed and then reassembled it again in our new unit. Where do I start? Phenomenal. Absolutely amazing in every way. The two gentlemen that moved us today were very hard workers. Going up multiple... flights of stairs repeatedly (sometimes with large and heavy pieces of furniture) yet they still had a sense of humour! Everything was packed and protected and arrived in perfect condition. Despite the heat and gruelling work they never wavered. I cannot say enough positive things and strongly recommend them.read more

Don’t give it another thought, just hire them. They were absolutely fantastic and to be perfectly honest, saved my you know what. Communication was... great, they were right on time, and unbelievable fast and careful with all my possessions. An incredible value for the service they provided.Here was my experience… I needed to clear out of my residence and thought I was going to be able to do it all myself 🤣… but on Friday afternoon around 3:30pm it became pretty obvious that wasn’t going to happen. A phone call to Paramount Moving solved all my problems. I figured the absolute last minute call for movers would be a hard no… but it wasn’t. They showed up exactly when they said they would, at 6pm (on a Friday!!! 🤯🙏🙏🙏) and cleared the space out and moved to the new location in less than 2.5 hours.From now on, they are my first phone call. They are very good and easy to work with. They’ve picked up a heavy treadmill that I bought froma seller on facebook. They moved and transferred it to our house very smoothly. The two super strong gentlemen came on time as agreed when I hired them, they moved my super expensive heavy arcade-machine up 15 staircase steps and... into my area where I wanted it to be set. They used their moving blankets to protect the machine. They had the professional tools to lift the heavy machine. No damages anywhere which is exactly what I was hoping for, and I’m extremely happy with their service. I was very happy with the service I received from Paramount during a local move of a 1 bedroom in Victoria. I packed myself so they only moved. ... They were friendly and courteous and all my belongings arrived in great shape. No damage to anything including walls or floors at either location. They were good at communicating, reminded me day of when they would arrive and were actually a little early. They were also a very good price compared to all the other movers I contacted. My movers were on time the day of the move, and for my move delivery to my new home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Paramount Moving full-service storage and moving services!!I used Paramount Movers to keep my items safe in storage for the past 5... months and this past weekend, they delivered all my items into my new apartment. I wasn’t sure what type of shape everything would be in and like most, worried about broken or damaged items BUT as soon as everything was delivered and assembled by the Paramount team I’m happy to report that everything is in perfect condition. Not a single wine glass was broken! The Paramount team carefully unpacked and built our furniture and I was relieved to see everything was stored and transported perfectly! Moving is so stressful to me but Paramount was incredible at making sure it was as quick and painless as possible! I have a dog, cat and toddler so... there were a lot of moving parts.
