Moving Costs –
Detailed Breakdown

• Minimum Charge: All moves have a 2-hour minimum, which includes 2 hours of labor time. After that, billing continues in 15-minute increments for flexibility and accuracy.
• Taxes: A 5% GST will be added to the final moving cost as required by law.
• When Does the Clock Start? We begin timing once our movers arrive at your pickup location and stop once the job is fully completed.
• Piano Moves: Moving a piano comes with an added fee of $250 CAD plus $5 per step. A team of at least three professional movers will be assigned to ensure safe and damage-free handling.
• Heavy Item Surcharge: Items weighing over 200 lbs—like treadmills, large safes, gym machines, air hockey tables, or slate pool tables—are considered extra-heavy. A surcharge will apply based on the size and weight of the item.
